Playtech has announced the launch оf its live casino product іn Finland via the nation’s state-owned monopoly operator, Veikkaus.
Expansion Of Collaboration: Playtech Becomes Veikkaus’ First Live Casino Supplier
The two organisations look to build on their pre-existing partnership agreement, which has seen the regulatory approval and full integration of Playtech’s live games to the Veikkaus platform. After partnering in February, the pair’s collaborative efforts in Finland now span across online poker and casino real cash slots, VLT machines and a casino management system. This new deal makes Playtech Veikkaus’ first live casino supplier.
November was a busy month for Playtech, with the supplier announcing the extension оf its partnership with Continent 8 Technologies – a collaborative effort that began 20 years ago. This news was followed by the unveiling оf a new mobile sportsbook and casino agreement reached between the company and Delaware North. Last week, Playtech also expanded its pre-existing partnership with Bar One Racing.
Good to know: During Q3, Playtech sold its Italian sports betting and gaming company, Snaitech, to Flutter for €2.3bn ($2.42bn).

For Veikkaus, this latest update comes in the wake of an additional deal that saw the company introduce Greentube to the Finnish market. Last month, Veikkaus was also fined €2.9m over advertising breaches in the nation.
